Too hot to work indoors on the UK

It’s a bit hot right now, isn’t it? In fact, today marks the hottest June day recorded in the UK, with temperatures peaking at over 36 degrees Celsius, which is pretty outrageous.

I suspect, then, that many Brits will be heading to their local pool or beach to chill out a bit. But if you want to really enjoy the summery vibes, then I’d strongly recommend grabbing a Bluetooth speaker and blasting some tunes — and luckily, one of my favorite models is on sale for Amazon Prime Day.

Yes, you can snap up the JBL Charge 6 for £109.65 (was £169.99) at Amazon right now, which is an absolutely phenomenal price for what is an equally phenomenal Bluetooth speaker.

With amazing sound quality, a rugged build, and top-tier waterproofing, the JBL Charge 6 is the ultimate pool or beachside companion, so scroll on down to learn more about this unmissable offer.

Today’s best JBL Charge 6 deal

In our JBL Charge 6 review, we rated the speaker five stars, and raved about its “even-handed and expressive sound,” awesome power, and genuinely impressive build quality. And after testing it for myself, I’d agree that it’s more than deserving of the high praise.

When I got my hands on the Charge 6, I was especially struck by its regimented, precise, and thumping bass, which made genres like House and Hip-Hop sound highly energetic and exciting. But this never got in the way of the rest of the frequency range — vocals and guitars in the mid-range and percussion in the treble also came through with commendable clarity and flair, resulting in a beautifully rounded listen.

But JBL’s mid-weight speaker doesn’t only sound great, it’s also rammed with a fantastic feature-set. With customizable EQ, a battery-enhancing PlayTime Boost option, and lossless USB-C audio, this speaker really feels like the full package.

And what really helps it to stand out as a beach or poolside is its IP68 dust and waterproof rating. This means that the Charge 6 is fully protected against particle ingress, but it can also survive a 30-minute-long dunking under a meter and a half of water…pretty amazing, right?

Ultimately, this deal makes an already great-value Bluetooth speaker feel like a total bargain. And if you’re looking to take your music-listening experiences to new heights this summer, then I’d strongly suggest scooping the Charge 6 up for less while you still can.
