Walk-out and loudspeakers near Gaza: How Netanyahu’s UN speech unfolded

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has labelled the recognition of a Palestinian State as a “mark of shame” during a combative speech at the UN General Assembly in New York.

Footage showed Netanyahu’s speech being blasted on speakers on the Israel-Gaza border.

Israel has come under huge international pressure over its military action in Gaza, culminating in the UK, France, Canada, Australia and other countries recognising the State of Palestine this week.
