Now that the weather is getting colder for many of us, it’s the perfect time to snuggle up and watch some comforting TV. If you want to bring the spooky atmosphere too, don’t miss Halloween Baking Championship now that three seasons have been added to Disney+.

In this Halloween-themed bake-off, seven bakers prepare seasonal treats to win a $25,000 cash prize. You’ll marvel at some of the inventive and mouthwatering creations, and I really don’t recommend watching this on an empty stomach. Trust me, you’ll regret it.

Hulu’s new drama Murdaugh: Death in the Family just dropped its three-episode premiere, if you want a true crime binge watch this month.

In this thrilling story, Patricia Arquette plays Maggie Murdaugh, the wife of a prominent attorney. This series follows the rise and fall of South Carolina’s Murdaugh dynasty, as the couple’s son, Paul, is involved in a deadly boat crash, giving them a test unlike any they’ve ever encountered.

There’ll be weekly episodes throughout October, and hopefully it’ll keep you gripped enough to want to come back.

The Murky Stream has already received positive reviews from audiences, with its IMDb score sitting at 8.1/10 at the time of writing. K-Drama fans definitely won’t want to miss this one.

The plot centers on the intertwined lives of three people in a lawless Joseon-era setting. There’s a man named Si-yool, a gangster hiding his past; Choi Eun, daughter of a wealthy merchant; and Jung Cheon, an official who dreams of being honest.

The entire seven-episode season is streaming now; whether you binge it or savor it is up to you.

Star Wars: Visions returns for a third season at the end of the month, and I’m so excited to see what’s in store this time.

If you haven’t seen the first two, this anthology series is a collection of animated short films presented “through the lens of the world’s best anime creators”, where it offers a new animated perspective on Star Wars.

You can catch up on Disney+ now in time for the season three premiere on October 29. Trust me, if you’re a Star Wars fan, you won’t want to miss it.

Lucy is a long-time movie and television lover who is an approved critic on Rotten Tomatoes. She has written several reviews in her time, starting with a small self-ran blog called Lucy Goes to Hollywood before moving onto bigger websites such as What’s on TV and What to Watch, with TechRadar being her most recent venture. Her interests primarily lie within horror and thriller, loving nothing more than a chilling story that keeps her thinking moments after the credits have rolled. Many of these creepy tales can be found on the streaming services she covers regularly.

When she’s not scaring herself half to death with the various shows and movies she watches, she likes to unwind by playing video games on Easy Mode and has no shame in admitting she’s terrible at them. She also quotes The Simpsons religiously and has a Blinky the Fish tattoo, solidifying her position as a complete nerd.
