DJI launched its first small 360 camera just two months ago, but it’s already slashed its price for Prime Day – right now the DJI Osmo 360 costs $412.99 at Amazon US (was $549.99) or just £313 at Amazon UK (was £409.99). Not bad at all for an 8K camera with built-in memory that’s also directly compatible with DJI’s superb wireless mics.

Considering how closely the DJI Osmo 360 pushes the Insta360 X5 for the best 360 camera crown, it’s a steal at this new-low price – for reference, the X5 standard bundle is currently $499.99 / £469.99 (that’s $50 / £50 off, but still a good bit pricer).

In our DJI Osmo 360 review, we awarded the 360 camera 4.5 stars and praised its impressive all-round performance, user-friendly design and solid companion apps.
When we first saw its headline features, we had really high hopes for the Osmo 360, and it pretty much delivers in all areas for creating high-quality 360-degree content. However, despite the promise of its larger, square-shaped sensor, the Osmo 360 doesn’t outright beat the X5 – our current favorite 360 camera – on image quality.
The X5’s replaceable lens design could save you money in the long run in the event of damage, too; after all, replacing lenses is much cheaper than replacing a whole camera!
That said, for a first effort, the Osmo 360 is extremely compelling, particularly for content creators who already own a DJI Mic 2 or Mic Mini given the direct compatibility between devices. And right now, at a significant lower price than the Insta360 X5, it’s the best-value 360 camera available.
