Robbie Williams is returning to the city in 2026

Robbie Williams is coming to Glasgow to kick off his latest tour to support his new album.

The singer’s Long 90’s Tour begins at the Barrowlands Ballroom in the city on 4 February, 2026 – two days before the release of Britpop, his 12th solo studio album.

He will also play Liverpool on 6 February, the O2 Academy in London on 8 February and Wolverhampton on 9 February.

The tour was announced as he closed his 2025 run of shows – which featured a performance at Murrayfield Stadium – in Camden on Thursday evening.

Britpop was set to be released on 10 October but was pushed back until February due to scheduling issues.

If it goes to number one, it will be Williams’ 16th album or single to reach that chart position, putting him ahead of The Beatles’ current record.

Williams also kicked off his 2025 tour in Scotland, playing at the national rugby stadium in Edinburgh.

Fans were treated to a guest appearance from singer Michelle McManus, who joined Williams on stage for a performance of the Take That song Relight my Fire.

His new album also features guest appearances from including Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, Supergrass’s Gaz Coombes, Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi and Williams’ former Take That bandmate Gary Barlow.

The fourth single from the album, Pretty Face, was released on Thursday, following previously released tracks – Rocket, Spies and Human.

Williams’ first performance on the tour will be at the Barrowland Ballroom

He said the album was “the one he wanted to write” at the height of his 1990s fame after leaving Take That.

Williams said: “It was the peak of Britpop and a golden age for British music. I’ve worked with some of my heroes on this album. It’s raw, there are more guitars and it’s an album that’s even more upbeat and anthemic than usual.

“There’s some ‘Brit’ in there and there’s certainly some ‘pop’ too – I’m immensely proud of this as a body of work and I’m excited for fans to hear this album.”

Williams’ career was featured in the 2024 film Better Man, in which he voiced a CGI chimpanzee portraying him.

He was also the subject of a 2023 Netflix documentary series charting his struggles with addiction and mental health issues.
