Amazon Prime Day in Australia officially kicked off at midnight East Coast time on Tuesday, July 7. It will run for seven days, with all deals coming to an end at 11.59pm AEST on Monday, July 13, 2026.

Is a Prime Day headphone deal worth it?
Put simply, yes. I’ve covered Prime Day in Australia for a few years now, and every year I’m amazed by not only the number of headphone deals on offer, but the discounts that they get. That means you could stand to save a fortune on a new pair, especially at the premium end of the market.
Lately, new pairs of Sony, Sennheiser and Bose pairs of headphones have launched at close to AU$700, so if you can save a couple of hundred dollars, why not?!
What’s more, it’s not unheard of for other Australian retailers to price match Amazon, meaning you’re not going to be short of options for a great deal.
