Earthquake survivors shelter in baseball stadium

Huge numbers of people have been left homeless after Venezuela was struck by two massive earthquakes on Wednesday last week.

The BBC’s Will Grant visited a makeshift shelter in Catia la Mar, a town on the country’s northern coast, where survivors who have been left with nothing sleep outdoors or in tents.

The survivors are hopeful the authorities will find them some form of temporary accommodation while the country rebuilds – for now they are dependant on donated food and clothing.
